Hope u are all well! Has everyone been watching the new series of Skins? What do we think of the way the lesbian storyline is being presented? Is it done in a positive light? To what extent are teenage lesbians like this? Does the programme successfully relate to young girls struggling with their sexuality? I'm not sure what I think, I feel that I can relate in the sense that it is probably the age I had to stop fighting my feelings for girls and come to terms with it. Also I find it refreshing to see a popular teenage show address real issues facing LGBT youth.

I think that the way the relationship was portrayed was quite good. I like the way that they managed to get all aspects in there... the feelings and the way that they did get some discrimination and how they handled this. I think that they made an overall good job of this. (Y)
