The Youth Volunteering Network (YVN) of Peterborough are looking for keen young designers (aged 16 – 25) to create the brand for the network by producing a logo and strapline to be used on all of its promotional material and advertising.
The Peterborough YVN function is to help support the role young volunteers play in Peterborough and to share ideas. Members meet every 8 weeks and include young volunteers and any organisation that wishes to or currently supports youth volunteering. The YVN can directly influence the Youth Volunteering Strategy for Peterborough.
The group are looking for a striking and colourful design but it should also be transferable to black and white. It should reflect several ideas – the coming together of the local youth community, the development of youth opportunities and the support of local organisations across Peterborough.
There is a prize of a £50 HMV voucher for the design which best captures the ideals of the YVN. This opportunity could even help to kick start a design portfolio!
